Passed away peacefully at Cambridge Country Manor on Wednesday, May, 31, 2017 at the age of 90.
Beloved wife of the late Milton (2013) for 64 years. Loved mother of Nancy Rotozinski (Bob), Brent (Tisha) and Judy Mendicino (Vince). Cherished grandmother of Nathan (predeceased 2014), Melissa Kwiatkowski (Andy), Joel Rotozinski, Matthew and David Mendicino and great-grandmother of Hania and Lucia Kwiatkowski. Dear sister of Edna and the late Pearl, Lloyd, Wilfred, Arlene, Esther, Richard, Irvin and Helen. Lovingly remembered for her special bond with extended family, in-laws and friends. Born and raised in Kitchener. Retired from A.B. Caya Fabrics. Bernice was a faithful member and prayer warrior of Waterloo Pentecostal Assembly for over 30 years.
Bernice’s family will receive relatives and friends from 7-9 p.m. on Monday, June 5, 2017, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 and from 9:30-10:15 a.m. on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to Lisaard House or the Alzheimer Society of Waterloo-Wellington (cards available at the funeral home).
