It is with great sadness that the family of the late
BERNADETTE
DIMMER of Burin announces her passing at her home in Burin
on Wednesday, October 18th, 2017, at the age of
76. Leaving to mourn with fond and
loving memories are sons, James Dimmer Jr. (Theresa) of Fox Cove,
Allen Dimmer (Rosarri) of Marystown, Derick Dimmer (Marcella) of New
York; daughters, Judy Power (Philip) of Labrador City, Cathy Dimmer
(Jeff Coady) of Burin Bay Arm;
sisters, Eileen Dooley (Bern) of Marystown, Shirley
Hand of Marystown, Maureen Lundrigan (Joe) of Toronto, Joyce Lundrigan
of Burin; brothers, Ed Lundrigan (Bernice) of Salmonier, Jim Lundrigan
(Alvina) of Salmonier, Mike Lundrigan (Jeanette) of Beau Bois, Bill
Lundrigan of Alberta; 5 grandchildren:
Kyle,
Evan, Jenna, Jay & Scott; 1 great-granddaughter, Eva;
brothers-in-law, Bill Farrell Sr. of Marystown, Wilf Sheppard of St.
John’s; sister-in-law, Nancy Lundrigan of Salmonier; plus a
large circle of extended family and friends.
She was
predeceased by husband, James Dimmer; sisters, Bridget Farrell, Winnie
Sheppard; brothers, Ray, Vince & Jerry Lundrigan;
sisters-in-law, Shirley, Judy & Mary Lundrigan; parents,
Bernard & Alice Lundrigan.
The Dimmer Family will be accepting visitors at
Wiseman’s Funeral Home in Salt Pond, Burin, on Friday,
October 20th, from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00
p.m.; Saturday, October 21st, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00
p.m.; Sunday, October 22nd, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00
p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial
will take place at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church in
Burin on Monday, October 23rd, at 10:00
a.m. Interment will follow at
Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery in Fox
Cove.
In Bernadette’s
memory donations may be made to the Dimmer Family or flowers
gratefully accepted.
