Beatrice Marie Gaeler (nee Huenemoerder), of Hanover, passed away suddenly as the result of a traffic accident at Hanover and District Hospital, on Tuesday, June 20, 2017. She was 83.
Beatrice, better known as Bea, was born on September 24, 1933 in Brant Township to the late Herman and Irna (nee Lorenz) Huenemoerder. She was a faithful member of the Royal Canadian Legion – Hanover.
Survived by her special friend Norm McInnis. Loved mother of Margaret Tarbutt (Keith Stevens), Bonnie (Don) Fizell, Vicky (Frank) Altman, Debbie (Garry) Ball, Colleen (Paul) Schultz, Denise (James) Lawrence, Dori Power (Steve Cook) and her two sons Gord and Jim Gaeler. Special grandmother of 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She leaves to mourn her brother Gerald (Ruth) Huenemoerder and brother in law George (Marg) Gaeler along with several nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by her beloved husband Robert, granddaughter Natalie Schultz, daughter in law Jeanette Stangler, brother Melvin and brother in laws Gary (Shirley) Gaeler and Doug (Ruby) Gaeler.
Family would like to invite friends to gather at a Graveside Memorial Service on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 11:00 am, at Chesley Cemetery, Chesley. Inurnment alongside her husband Robert, in Chesley Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations to the Hanover & District Hospital Foundation.
