Beatrice “Bea” H. McNulty
Beatrice “Bea” H. McNulty, 89, of McNair
Manor, Moncton, with her loving family at her side, passed away
peacefully at her residence on Monday morning, July 31, 2017.
Born in Upsalquitch, she was the daughter of the late Enoch
and Hilda (Borden) Bamford. Bea was a former school teacher in the
Greater Moncton area, with over 20 years’ service and was
formerly employed with World Book Encyclopedia.
She was a life time member of the Moncton Wesleyan Church.
Her church work was very important to her and she served in various
capacities over the past 65 years. Bea was involved with the Moncton
Wesleyan Women’s Missions and was a member of the Super
Seniors Group. She was an avid scrabble player, and enjoyed crocheting
and socializing with her friends and family.
Bea will be sadly missed by her son, Boyd McNulty (Maxine) of
Moncton; daughter, Connie Thornton of Moncton; precious grandchildren,
Natalie Thornton (Norman), Amy McNulty Myshrall (Corey) and Dustin
Thornton (Sara); cherished great grandchildren, Riley and Aubree;
several nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her
immediate family.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her
husband, Aubrey S. McNulty; granddaughter, Crystal; brother, Don and
sisters, Faye and Daisy.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road,
Moncton (858-1995) on Monday, August 7th
from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. A Service to celebrate and honour
Bea’s life will be held at the Moncton Wesleyan Church Life
Centre, 945 St. George St. on Tuesday, August
8th, 2017 at 11:00 am with Rev. Laurel
Buckingham officiating. Reception in the Church Atrium following the
service. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to thank the staff of
McNair Manor for the exceptional care and kindness shown to Bea during
her stay.
