Audrey A. Jones (Greene/Embleton)
1930-2017
The death of Audrey Annetta Jones (Greene / Embleton)
occurred on Tuesday, May 9th, 2017 at Hospice
Fredericton.
Audrey was born in Florenceville, NB, the oldest daughter of
Albert R. Greene and Blanche (Glen) Greene. She was predeceased by her
husband, Amos W. Jones.
Audrey is survived by her three sons, Terry (Jean Calder)
Embleton, Rick (Marlene) Embleton and Peter (Joyce Pedersen) Embleton,
all of Fredericton, four step children, Gary (Susan Epton) Jones,
Sherree (Dennis) Dickinson, Dawn (Rod) Cumberland, Peter (Jennifer)
Jones and special family friend, Bernie Hogan. She is also survived by
her three wonderful grandchildren, Jeffrey Embleton of Toronto, Cheryl
Embleton of Bathurst, and Connor Embleton of Vancouver, step
grandchildren, Chris (Carley) Brown of Toronto, Alex (Jessica MacKay)
Brown of Fredericton, Ben, Nathan, Emily, and Kaitlyn Cumberland of
Keswick Ridge, as well as great grandchildren, Kye and Aleta Embleton
of Bathurst, and Karsyn Brown of Fredericton.
Audrey is survived by one sister, Tena Brown of St. Stephen,
three brothers, Glen (Joan) Greene of Fredericton, David Greene of
Centreville and Gary (Linda) Greene of Moncton. She is also survived
by three sisters-in-law, Gail Greene of Ottawa, Dorothy Greene of
Florenceville and Nora Greene of Port-aux-Basque, NL.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers,
Reg of Ottawa, Donald of Florenceville, and Darrell of Centreville,
daughter-in-law, Beth Embleton and nephew, Vince
Greene.
Visitation will be held at McAdam’s Funeral Home on Thursday,
May 11th, 2017 from 2-5 PM, with funeral service at New Maryland
United Church at 1 PM on Friday, May 12th, 2017. Rev. Jane Johnson
will officiate. Interment will immediately follow the
service at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial
tributes made to the New Maryland United Church, Hospice Fredericton
or to a charity of the donor’s choice, would be
appreciated.
