Forever In Our Hearts
Arthur Elliott Wees passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at the age of 85 years.
He was predeceased by his father Arthur; mother Gladys (nee Elliott); and brother John (Gladys deceased). Art will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Margaret; daughter Donna (Ron) Wees-Graham; son Larry (Deanna) Wees; grandchildren Emily Wees and Tyrell Wees; siblings Iris (Wes deceased), Betty (Ernie deceased), Russell (Ferne) and Jo-Ann (Alex); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends, neighbours; and the Santa Maria extended family.
Art was known in the hockey community as a dedicated skate sharpener for over 40 years. Summers were enjoyed at Regina Beach by not only Art and Margaret, but all the sightseers viewing his more than 300 flowers and plants which he loved.
Art cherished his family and was very proud of them.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for you to share a meal with your family together and share a memory of Arthur.
