Anthony “Tony” Daniel Bachanski of Medicine Hat, passed away on Friday, May 26th, 2017 at the age of 61 years. Tony was born on June 6th, 1955 in Sydney, Nova Scotia. In 1976, he moved to Calgary with his wife and daughter. He was hired by AGT (Telus) in 1977 and worked there until his retirement in 2010. Although his retirement time was brief, Tony was able to spend quality time in his favourite vacationing place, Mazatlán, Mexico where he had many friends, new and old. Tony leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 43 years, Joan Bachanski; his daughter, Crystal Hopkins; son-in-law, Steven Hopkins; three grandchildren, Grant Hopkins, Joshua Hopkins and Lily Hopkins; and his dear cousin, Georgina Ott. May Tony rest in peace. You will be sorely missed. A Private Family Time of Remembrance will be held at a later date.
