The family of Anne Reimer would like to announce the peaceful passing of Anne Reimer of Mayerthorpe, formerly of Whitecourt, on January 18, 2017 at the age of 90 years.
Anne is survived by her two daughters, Carol (Barry) Wakefield and Lorraine (Brian) Roy; five grandchildren, Curtis, Richard (Heidi), Lee, Trish (Owen) and Craig; four great-grandchildren, Jayden, Tyler, Harlan and Greyson; and brother, Ron (Vonda) Derksen. Predeceased by her husband; one sister; one son; and her life partner.
Family and friends may pay their respects Wednesday, January 25 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Mayerthorpe, 5101 Grigg Avenue.
Funeral Service Thursday, January 26 at 1:00 p.m. at Whitecourt United Church, 5201 – 50 Street, Whitecourt. Pastor Deborah Springer officiating with interment in Whitecourt Cemetery with reception to follow. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, Cross Cancer Institute, 11560 University Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB T6G 1Z2.
