Obituary of Anna Simpson
Simpson, Anna “Anne” Florence (nee Davidson) – a resident of Lambeth and formerly of Ridgetown, died at Ashwood Manor Retirement Residence, Lambeth on Saturday Oct 7, 2017 at the age of 99. Beloved wife of 62 years of the late Acey Simpson (2006). Dearly loved mother of Judy and Florent Van Overloop of RR#2 Aylmer, and Carol Craig of London. Loving grandmother of Brent (Ramona) Meharg of Belmont, Darren (Christine) Meharg of Lambeth, Paul Craig of London, Kyle (Haley) Craig and dear great-grandmother of Chase Craig of Thorndale. Sister-in-law of Betty Davidson of Tilbury. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Albert and Susan (nee Hicks) Davidson, sister Phyllis Ternoey and brothers Arnold and Neil Davidson.
Anne was born in Tilbury East Township. She was a member of Erie St. United Church and a lifelong member of U.C.W.. A past member of the Women’s Institute.
Memorial Visitation will be held at Erie St. United Church, 7 Erie St. North, Ridgetown on Saturday October 14, 2017 from 1pm until the time of Memorial Service at 2pm. Cremation with interment in the Greenwood Cemetery, Ridgetown will have taken place.
