The family announce the passing on Tuesday July 18th. Predeceased by her loving husband Ben (1999). Anna was the 4th youngest of 13 children of Frank and Julia Rozek. Survived by sister Marie Wren and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Frank, Phillip, Thomas, John, Joseph, Edward and sisters Edna Belaskie, Monica (June) Panagapka, Stella Poirier, Julia Havrot and Leona Firlotte. Anna was a retired nurse for 45 years; a key caregiver during the Polio Epidemic, always went the extra mile for nursing rights and was compassionate to all. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (at 14th St., between Islington and Kipling Aves., 416-259-3705) on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-9 pm and Monday from 6-9 pm. Funeral Mass will held at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church on Tuesday July 25th at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens. Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
