It is with great sadness the family announces the death of
Ann King (Morse) Lord, at the Charlotte County Hospital Sunday, July
9. Ann was the wife of Dr. Robert A. Lord of
Leverville.
Born in Boston, Mass., on April 8, 1945, she was the daughter
of the late Dr. Lewis Rupert and Evelyn Morse.
She is survived by children Steven (Joanne) Green of
Fredericton, Dr. Robert (Tracy) Green of Halifax, Dana (Florin)
Buduroi of St. Stephen, Robert (Charlene) Lord of Lake Utopia and
Naomi (Steven) Verch of Fredericton Junction; brothers Lewis (Susanna)
Morse of North Vancouver, B.C. and Dr. Michael (Bea) Morse of
Rothesay; one sister, Eleanor Morse of Saint John; 10 grandchildren
and one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
She was a long time member of the Canadian Kennel Club and
the American Kennel Club and a founding member of the St. Croix Kennel
Club. Ann was a long time breeder of international award winning
Boston Terriers, Bearded Collies, Golden Retrievers and French
Bulldogs.
Ann was a member of the Canadian Dental Hygienists
Association, a former executive member of the New Brunswick
Women’s Institute, past president of the Rolling
Dam-Leverville Women’s Institute, a member of the former
District 23 School Board.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Charlotte County Cancer, the
Charlotte County Hospital Foundation or a charity of the
donor’s choice would be appreciated by the
family.
No visitation by Ann’s request. A celebration of
her life will take place at the Rolling Dam United Church on August 5,
2017.
