Obituary for Ann Kelso Hurd
Ann Kelso Hurd peacefully on December 5, 2017 at River Park Gardens Personal Care Home, Winnipeg, at the age of 89 years. Ann came to Canada with her family in January 1969, becoming a citizen in 1980.
She is survived by her daughter Barbara Bennell (Randy), grandchildren Geoffrey Bennell (Anita), Thomas Bennell (Jodi); daughter Carol Graveson, grandchildren Matthew Larson (Maja), Kenneth Larson (Janelle Regalbuto), Corrin Larson; son Brian Graveson (Darlene Basaraba) and 7 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, James and Laura Hurd, Ashland Ohio; brother and sister-in-law James Jr. and Margaret Hurd , Park Forest, Illinois; brother-in-law Walter Stampfli, Greenwich,Ohio and is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Lee and Janet Hurd, Hanover, New Hampshire; sister Joan Stampfli, Greenwich, Ohio, nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place at her request; a memorial celebration will be held Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 11am, at Trinity United Church, Winnipeg.
Flowers are respectfully declined. If desired, donation to the Trinity United Church music program could be made in her name.
