1933-2017
Angus A. MacDonald of McAdam, NB passed away on February 10, 2017 at
the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Angus was born in 1933 at St.
Croix, NB, a son of the late James and Ruth (Speedy) MacDonald. He
was a clerk with CPR for over 35 years. In his spare time he enjoyed
fishing, hunting, woodworking and spending time with his
grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 61years, Mary (Hudson) MacDonald; his
children, Terry MacDonald (Jane), Fredericton, NB, Jim MacDonald
(Rhonda Parsons), Bedford, NS and Danny MacDonald (Tammy), Bathurst,
NB; four grandchildren, Amanda Geburt (Paul), Michael MacDonald,
Nathan MacDonald and Nicholas MacDonald; two great grandchildren, Liam
and Lily; a brother, Keith Anderson, Ontario; several nieces and
nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by an infant son David
and a sister, Jean Hay.
Visiting hours will be held at St. Paul’s United Church, 155
Saunders Road, McAdam, NB on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 1 to 2
pm, followed by the funeral service at 2 pm with Emma Seamone
officiating. A reception will follow at the McAdam Lions Club.
Interment will be later at Rockland Cemetery.
No flowers please, due to allergies. For those who wish to make a
donation in memory of Angus, the family has suggested the McAdam
Historical Restoration Commission or a charity of the donor’s
choice.
