Peacefully on September 14, 2017 at the Georgetown Hospital in his 61st year.
Loving husband of Maggie Atkinson, beloved son of George Atkinson and the late Helen Atkinson (Strutt). Loving father of Steven Atkinson. Dear brother of Noreen Atkinson, and Rozalyn Levitt. Dear uncle of Jordan MacKinnon, Victoria and Alexander Levitt. Cherished brother-in-law to Sheila and Ann. Proud Papa Bear to Shaun Michael, Tyler, Wade and Evan. Loved and respected by his step-sons Shaun (Elvira) and Brant (Leah) and also by all of his FedEx family. Will be sadly missed by long-time cherished friends, Barry, Heather, Elaine, Sue, Helen, Eric, Ivan, Brian and Steve.
Family and friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Sons Funeral Home. 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Avenue, Georgetown on Sunday September 24th, 2017 in The Trafalgar Room from 3pm-5pm for a Celebration of Life. 905-877-3631.
