Ryan, Andrew Douglas – 36, of Lake Echo/Mineville, succumbed to ALS on December 1, 2017. Andrew is survived by his mother Barbara Ryan, partner Alisha Bundy, daughters Paige and Reigha Ryan, sister Sarah (Steve) Loftus of Moncton, grandmother Nan Ryan of Wolfville, aunts Michelle (Richard) Daniels of Wolfville, Kelly (Kenny McNaughton) Ryan of Vancouver, Ellen (Paul) Muise of Gatineau PQ, uncle Douglas Brown of Dartmouth, and nephews, and by Bob Truen, faithful caregiver and brother by choice. Andrew was predeceased by his father Rev. Lorne Ryan, grandfather Dr. Douglas Ryan, maternal grandparents Donald W. and Nedra C. Brown. Andrew is our beloved son, great and devoted father, loving partner, faithful and generous friend. Special appreciation to Valerie Pretty, VON, Dr. Ken Cameron, Carrie Smith and friends too numerous to mention. Memorial service at St. David’s United Church, 2723 #7 Highway, Lake Echo, Thursday, December 7 at 2 pm; reception to follow at Lake Echo Rec Centre, 3168 #7 Highway, Lake Echo, following the service. We request charitable donations in lieu of flowers. “You have journeyed ahead and live in out hearts.”
