Allen Browne

Browne, Allen Wesley “Al” – No words can express the sadness that Al Browne’s family feel. He was a father, brother, friend and most of all, my loving sidekick. Al took his last breath, played his last song and told his last story.
Allen Wesley Browne 75 passed away peacefully in the early hours of Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Temiskaming Hospital with his sidekick Carole by his side. Sammie and Chloe will miss his supper time plates and the Ebony and JJ will miss their late night snacks. Mathew Laprade will be lost without you.
Predeceased by his parents Wesley and Alice [Poirier] Browne; his son Wesley Browne and his first wife Sharon the mother of his children: Michael Kenneth Browne and Angela Browne/Gretzinger.
Al was one of a kind. A miner, prospector, musician and even a public TV producer in Elliot Lake with Ray Meloche producing 4U2C.
Lovingly remembered by his siblings Glenda [Lorne] McAnaul, Shirley Gilson [Robert Salter], Steve [Joanne] Browne and Diane [Rene] Lafleur. Also missed by his grandchildren: Kevin and Vanessa Gretziner, Mike and Sarah Browne; nieces and nephews: Sue Gilson [Jason Schell], Gary [Loretta] Hughes, Mike [Dana] Hughes; numerous great-nieces, great-nephews and special cousins……..he loved you all xx.
