Obituary of Alfred Hare
Passed away at Haldimand War Memorial Hospital on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at the age of 86. Predeceased by his dear wife and best friend June (Wren, 2014). Loving father of Barbara (Tom) Pridmore, and Sharon (Cliff) Knoll. Cherished grandfather of Tom (Charlene), Todd (Larissa), Jacob; and great-grandchildren Logan, Brianna, Cooper and Rya. Sadly missed by sisters Mildred Richert and Ruby Nelson; and sisters-in-law Helen Hare, Diane (late Art) Brownell, brother-in-law Rick Wren (Don Upper) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Darcy and Percie Hare, and siblings Marion (Lloyd) Booker, Lloyd Hare, Ross (Ila) Hare, Omar (Edith) Hare, Lloyd Richert, Alfred Nelson, Claude, Willis and Henry Hare. Special thanks to the staff on the 3rd floor and Emergency Room at Haldimand War Memorial Hospital for many months of care and kindness. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at BALLARD MINOR FUNERAL HOME, 315 Broad St. E., Dunnville on Monday from 5-8 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 11 a.m. If desired, donations to Dunnville Hospital & Healthcare Foundation would be sincerely appreciated.
