In Loving Memory of Umilta Enid Ann King
January 31, 1937 – February 24, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Umilta Enid Ann King (née Cazabon), on Monday, February 24, 2025, at the age of 88. Daughter of Edward and Elene Cazabon (both deceased). She was deeply loved and touched the lives of many throughout her years on this earth. Her beautiful smile, kind heart, and joyous spirit will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her twin sister, Margaret Ira Austin; her sons, Alpha Sheldon King and his wife Désirée King, and Marvin King; and her cherished grandchildren: Domenic King, Mikayla King, Dream Tuitt-Barnes, Alexia King, Jacob King, and Isaac King. She also leaves behind her beloved 4 nieces, 3 nephews, 4 great-nieces, 5 great-nephews, and 1 great-great-niece.
Apart from her immediate family, Umilta was a beloved godmother and held a special place in the hearts of her children’s friends who simply called her “Auntie.” Her unwavering faith in God guided her through life and now leads her to her final resting place, where she reunites with her brothers Dr. Edward P. I. Cazabon and Stanley Cazabon, her niece Cheryl Burke (née Cazabon), and her daughter-in-law Florence King (née Sadita). She was also a cherished cousin to the Corbie and Devenish families.
Though she is no longer with us, her legacy of love, kindness, and faith will continue to live on, in all who were blessed to have known her.
May she rest in eternal peace.
