Passed away at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 in his 76th year.
Willie Williston of Petawawa, beloved husband of 50+ years to Tammy Williston (nee Wootten). Father of Donna Williston (Dallas Suttie), Petawawa and Jennifer Bradshaw (Kevin), Pembroke. Papa to grandchildren Gwen, Alexander, and Jaxton; and great-grandchildren Veralynn & Lillith. Survived by sisters Janet Taylor (late Bob) and Betty Swatuk (Bob). Predeceased by parents Stanley and Violet Williston (nee Banner); granddaughter Holli; and siblings Pat Swain (late Bud), Donnie, Phil (Mary), Edith, Bill, Linda Hathaway, Joanne Vanoverbeke, and Sandy Wyant. Remembered by many nieces, nephews, neighbours, Tim Horton’s Coffee Club, friends and comrades.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion are invited to gather for a Legion Service at 2:00 p.m. Interment in All Saint’s Anglican Cemetery, Petawawa at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
