Obituary of Sarah Dolores Leadbeater, New Waterford
Sarah Dolores Leadbeater (Hutchison), 61, of New Waterford, sadly passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025.
Dolores was an admired mother of 5 children who she loved fiercely. They were the light of her life. Dolores was always hard headed and strong willed since she was born, always going through her life with strength and dignity. Her strong work ethic shown throughout her entire life – from raising her children to her day to day jobs. While all of that is true, she was never one to shy away from a quick game of cards or a night of bingo. Dolores was funny, smart, witty, stubborn, beautiful in so many ways, loved and so filled with love by everyone in her life.
Dolores will be greatly missed by her children – Evelyn, Farrah Dawn (Chris), Madeline (Leon), Michele, and Joey. Her siblings – Johnny, Lloyd, Mary, Kenny, Iris, Heather, Margaret (her best friend), Kimberly, and James. Her grandkids – Tyra, Sarah, Olivia, Parker, Allie, Ella – May. As well as her many nieces and nephews and her many close friends.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation only will be held on Thursday, April 24th from 1-3 p.m. in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 380 Smith Street, New Waterford with light refreshments available. Interment will take place in Inverness.
