A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday June 28th at 1:00 PM at his home residence.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Charles Nidd on May 23rd, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at the age of 68.
Born on July 27th, 1956, Robert grew up in Etobicoke and moved to Milton in 2000, where he spent the rest of his years surrounded by the community and family he loved. He had a strong work ethic and a lifelong passion for the automotive industry, proudly running three Goodyear shops before continuing his career in parts and sales.
Robert found joy in the simple pleasures of life—spending time at the trailer, listening to classic tunes from the Beach Boys, and being with the people he cherished most. He especially loved being a grandfather, always bringing warmth, laughter, and love to time spent with his grandchildren.
Robert will be remembered for his easygoing nature, warm smile, and quick wit. He had a way of making everyone feel welcome and at ease. Whether he was sharing stories at the trailer, cranking up the Beach Boys, or simply enjoying a quiet moment with family, Robert embraced life’s simple joys with a full heart. His loyalty, dependability, and deep love for his family made him the kind of man everyone was proud to know.
He leaves behind his loving wife Michelle Nidd; daughter Skye Coobs and her husband Julian Coobs; son Brandon Nidd and his spouse Sarah Burns; and son Patrick Nidd. Robert was a proud grandfather to Adrianna Brooks, Coulson Coobs, Charlotte Burns, Everleigh Burns, Tae Nidd, Isabella Nidd—all of whom brought immense joy to his life.
Robert’s presence, humour, and the love he so freely gave will never be forgotten.
