Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his family on Monday, March 17, 2025 in his 86th year.
Beloved husband of 60 years to Jadwiga Kwias. Loving father of Richard Kwias, Teresa Gerrard (Don), Barbara Kwias and John Kwias (Jessica). Loved dziadek of Natasha (Doug), Justin (Makayla), Lukasz, Carmela, Nora and great-grandchildren Charlotte, Mavryk, Everett and Stella. Dear brother of Halina Graziani, Jurek Kwias (Hania) and predeceased by Juzef Kwias. Richard will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held at Drury Funeral Centre 519 Victoria St. E., Alliston on Sunday, March 23 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. with prayers at 4:00 p.m. Visitation will be on Monday March 24 at Drury Funeral Centre from 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Parish, 27 Centre St. Angus. Interment St. Paul’s Cemetery, Alliston. In memory of Richard please consider a mass offering to Our Lady of Grace Parish or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
