Passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Sunday, January 12, 2025, Peter Olson of Ottawa, age 78. Beloved son of the late Fred and Ida Olson (nee Potterton). Dear brother of Debbie LaChapelle (Brian) of Morrisburg, Douglas Olson (Joanne) of Stittsville, Norman Olson (Debbie) of Orleans, Valerie Lavigueur (Ron) of Embrun and Laurie Blois (Chris) of Ottawa. Dear uncle of Brenda, Bonnie, Steven, Michael (Joan), Christina, Kevin (Christiane), Jody (Nicolas), Kyle (Jessica), Shannon (Martin), Sarah, Erin, Amanda (Dave), Matthew, Andrew, Ryan (Chelsea) and great-uncle to several. He was predeceased by his brothers Fred, Ken, Bob and David Olson and his nephew Jeffery Olson.
Funeral Arrangements
A private family graveside service will be held in the spring at Pinecrest Cemetery in Ottawa. Donations to the Ottawa Civic Hospital would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
