Obituary of Pedja “Peter” Markov
Pedja Markov (31) passed away on February 13, 2025 in Oakville, ON.
Pedja was born on November 2, 1993 to Ivona and Filip in Novi Sad, Serbia. He was raised with love, guidance, and respect from his devoted parents, who always made sure he knew how much he was loved and valued. Their relationship was one of immense mutual love and admiration, and their bond was one of best friends, with deep love, respect, trust, and understanding.
He was always striving to better himself and his future, inspiring others with his ambition and relentless pursuit of knowledge.
Pedja was in a loving relationship with Monika, their pure love bond was filled with joy, shared dreams, understanding, and a deep connection that will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew them.
Pedja worked as a Technical Services – Drafting Manager and was highly regarded for his contributions at Vicwest Building Products. His strong work ethic and unwavering commitment left a lasting impression on everyone he worked with. He was always driven to do his best, and his contributions will continue to be felt long after his passing.
An avid hiker, hunter, nature explorer, Pedja enjoyed spending his free time doing what he loved most. Whether trekking through forests, hunting in the wild, or simply connecting with nature, he found peace and joy in exploring the beauty of the world around him.
He is survived by his devoted parents, Ivona and Filip,and his loving fiancé Monika. He will also be missed by his extended family, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by his kind heart and positive spirit.
Visitation will be held on February 21, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek. Funeral aervice to follow in the Funeral Home Chapel at 12:00 p.m.
