Norman Ayers Death Notice
Our family is heartbroken to share the loss of our beloved Norman Ayers, who passed away suddenly at Health Sciences North, Sudbury, on Monday, January 27, 2025.
Norm was the loved husband of Rebecca Dawn (nee Coldwell) of Callander; incredible dad of Amesha (Joshua), the late Tristan, Abigail (Jacob), and Amelia (James); much loved Grampy of Hanna, Isabella, Lolaa, Brooklyn, Daynna, Treydan, Coltyn, Maiya, and Elliot. He was the dear brother of Bill (Karen), Jim (Elsie), Shirley (Garfield Van Horn), the late Sharon (Al Gardiner), Michael, and Cheryle (Marius Robidas). Norm was the cherished son-in-law of Doug and Dawn Coldwell and the brother-in-law of Cassandra (Ken), Amanda Denos, and Jake.
Norman brought so much joy and warmth to everyone around him. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, as well as the students at St. Theresa’s School, Callander, who knew him as “Mr. Norm.”
We are gathering to celebrate his life in a way that reflects the love he shared with us all. We will receive visitors at South Shore Missionary Church, Hwy 654, Callander, on Friday, February 7th, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday, February 8th, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. The funeral service will be held in the church at 2 PM, followed by a reception. Cremation has taken place.
A donation to The Gathering Place or Nipissing Serenity Hospice would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
