Nancy Elizabeth Gouchie (nee Scott)
66 Years
Our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Nancy Gouchie, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family January 18, 2025, after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Nancy was the heart and glue of our family. Nancy was happily married for 46 years to her soulmate and love of her life Michael. She leaves behind 3 children she loved with her entire being, Jeff (Caitlynne), Greg (Natasha), and Meaghan (Jesse). Nancy also leaves behind 5 very special children who were lucky enough to call her their “gramma”, Aspyn, Liliana, Sutton, Sophie, and Tessa. They will miss her hugs, kisses and endless cuddles. Dear daughter of Bob and Betty Scott (both predeceased). Treasured sister of Ann Scott. Nancy will also be sadly missed by countless cousins, close friends and canine companion Charlie.
Nancy was known for her positivity, optimism and kind heart. Nancy was a talented photographer that was able to catch the beauty around her in a way that is indescribable. During the summer months Nancy along with Mike could always be found at the family camp on Attlee lake, where she not only grew up with her family but also got to share with her children and now grandchildren. Nancy’s devotion to her family was tireless, nothing could bring a smile to her face faster than one of her grandchildren coming through the door.
