July 8, 1943 – May 2, 2025
Passed away suddenly at home with family and went to be with her Lord and Saviour at the age of 81 on Friday May 2, 2025.
She was the beloved and devoted wife of Bob for 57 years. She was loved, cherished and appreciated by her 5 children and their spouses Robert (Melinda), Derek (Kristen), David (Mary Ellen), Carolyn (Ben), Sherri (Ben). A sweet and caring Oma to her 11 grandchildren, Emma, Julia, Ryan, Maria, Adam, Willem, Ava, Nila, Sam, Lucy and Lauren, who brought her much joy. Dear sister of Cathy (Brian) and predeceased by her twin sister Jane who passed away last year(John). Mary will be lovingly remembered by her other sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, church family and many friends. Her friendly, gentle and quiet spirit will be fondly missed by all those who knew her.
Visitation will be held at Drury Funeral Centre 519 Victoria St. E. Alliston from 2-4 & 7-9p.m. on Thursday May 8. Funeral service will be held on Friday May 9, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Alliston Christian Reformed Church, 28 Downey Ave, Alliston. Interment Alliston Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory made to either Grace United Reformed Church in Oro-Medonte or Hope & Healing International are appreciated.
