20 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren
Mary was a devoted mother, a cherished grandmother/great grandmother, community historian and a pillar of strength to all who knew her.
She spent her entire life in Outer Cove. Her greatest joy was her 10 children whom she raised with unwavering love, patience and wisdom. She created a home filled with warmth, laughter and endless support, teaching us the true meaning of resilience and kindness. Her love knew no bounds, and her legacy will live through the countless lives she touched.
Beyond her role as a mother, Mary had a strong steadfast commitment to her faith and church. She was a woman of great compassion, known for her generosity and unwavering faith.
Her love for children extended far beyond our family- she dedicated over 20 years working at the Janeway Children Hospital. She had a gift for making children feel safe and loved. Her gentle touch and warm smiles brought comfort to so many families during difficult times.
Mary had a big heart, and her kindness knew no limits, whether offering a helping hand and a listening ear for her many friends. She loved her family Sunday Dinners and having numerous friends over for tea.
She found Joy in her family, sharing stories, watching her grandchildren grow, and spreading love wherever she went.
Though we grieve at her passing, we find comfort in knowing that she is now at peace. Her spirit will be with us, guiding us through the lessons she so beautifully taught.
Special mention to her adopted sons Leo Reddy (Linda) and Vern Mach as well as her end-of-life caregivers Mae Feehan and Jennifer Kavanagh.
