It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Isabel Carvalho at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Predeceased by Antonio, her beloved husband of 58 years. Proud mother to Joe (Rita) and Russell (Cindy). Cherished Avo to Jacob (Katie), Desiree, Jordon (Emily), Emily, Leeya (Sokol) and Luke. Dearest Bisavo to Thomas, Tyler and Oscar. Maria was happiest when surrounded by her family and friends. She was a beautiful, generous and thoughtful soul. Maria truly enjoyed helping others. She loved to laugh and always made sure that she put her family’s needs ahead of her own .
Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St. N, Cambridge where family and friends will be received on Wednesday March 19, 2025, from 4-8p.m. Rosary to be recited at 6:30p.m. Mass of Christian burial to be held from Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church on Thursday March 20, 2025, at 10a.m. Private Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Cambridge Memorial Hospital in her honor if you wish.
