The world grew a little quieter, a little less bright, as we said goodbye to Margaret Victoria Williamson, who passed away peacefully on February 8th, 2025. Though her journey on this earth has ended, her love and kindness remain woven into the lives of all who knew her.
Born on May 24th, 1943, in Hamilton, Ontario, our dear Marg dedicated her life to uplifting those around her. Whether through her unwavering devotion to family, her service to her community, or her ability to make everyone feel valued, she embodied the true meaning of love. Her greatest joys were found in playing cards, specifically Canasta, and taking care of her family.
She is survived by her husband Paul, her boys Derek (Stacey), Grant (Joanne), and Matthew (Kim), and her grandchildren Zachary, Abigail, Ethan, Ryan, and Eva, who will forever cherish her love and wisdom. Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort knowing she is smiling with us every day.
She lived with love, laughter, and a heart full of rhythm – because nobody put our Marg in a corner. Her spirit will forever dance in our hearts, just as she would have wanted.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer Society of Ontario.
