Linda Peckford, Known for her strength and unyielding positivity, passed away on February 26th at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre, Gander.
Linda was known for her warmth, generosity and the undeniably loving spirit she brought into the world.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Frank, her beloved children Dean (Melinda), son Rick, daughter Cindy (Ambrose), sister Nancy (Morley), special friend Tracy and her many cousins, nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws.
Special thanks to her sister-in-law, Marie. She will be severely missed by her dog, Shadow who never left her side and whom she loved so much.
She is joined in rest by her mother, Effie and her father, Heber along with many other loved ones throughout her life and she was cherished deeply by many.
Among Linda’s most significant accomplishments was her 3 children, whom she held as her pride and joy and loved them very much. Her legacy is one of unyielding kindness and generosity. Even when sick or in pain, she never faltered in caring for her loved ones more than she did herself.
Viewing will take place on Friday, February 28th from 1:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. for those wishing to pay their respects and to celebrate her life.
A celebration of life for Linda will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church on Saturday, March 1st at 2:00 P.M. Cremation will follow.
Linda’s loss is deeply felt by her family and all those who knew and loved her. Her memory will continue to live on and inspire strength, resilience and generosity in those whose lives she touched.
