Obituary of Ken Morrison
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth James Morrison, born May 27, 1929 in Charlottetown, PEI. Kenneth “Ken” passed away at Beach Grove Home, Charlottetown on Tuesday, February 4, 2025.
Predeceased by his wife Lorraine (July 2023) of 68 years. Father of Joel (Thelma), Grant, Monica Szwarc (Carl), Kenneth, Marcel and Melody Dover (Rob). He was a cherished father-in-law of Holly Paynter (Morrison) and a proud grandfather to Adam, Jason, Connor, Nathan, James, Wyatt, Shane, Geena, Rebecca and William. He will be remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Survived by his brother John and sisters Marion, Anne, Norma and Mary.
Ken had many occupations during his life but support and providing for his family was his #1 priority. He was especially proud of his children and their accomplishments. He was always involved in their daily lives up until his death.
Predeceased by his parents Alfred L. and Jean (Lawless) Morrison, son Steven, daughter Melanie and siblings Charlie and Alfred E.
Ken will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford from where a private funeral service will be held. No visitation by request. Interment later in St. Eugene’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Covehead. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke.
