Joseph “Norman” Larche Obituary
Joseph Norman (Norbert) Larche
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Joseph Norman Larche on Tuesday April 1, 2025 peacefully at his home in Perth, Ontario at the age of 81.
Loving husband to the late Sandy Larche. Loving father to Peter Larche, Steven Larche (Stacie), Corrina Fletcher (Stuart), and Patricia Larche. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Grandfather to Phoenix Rockburn (Hanah), Raven Rockburn, Kyla Muth, Zachary Larche, and Brittany and Jessica Wiersema. Great-grandfather to Matteo and Guiseppe McLeod.
Norm was a member of the Lions Club of Carleton Place and of Perth for 25 years. He was also a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion for 15 years. He worked for Bell Northern Research for 30 years as well as a Commissionaire Security Officer for 10 years. He was a carpenter by trade. A proud member of the Shanks Hunt Camp (Camp Blue) of Lavant Station. He will be deeply missed by so many life-long friends from camp.
Norm was a devout hunter, he loved fishing, darts, puzzles, and playing spoons. His biggest passion was camping, and antique cars. He was a man with a heart of gold; if you needed help, he was always there. He will be missed more than words can express.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home (19 McArthur Ave, Carleton Place) on
Saturday April 26, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
