It is with great sadness that the family of Joey Rego announces his sudden passing at the age of
42 in Calgary Alberta on Wednesday March 12th 2025.
Joey was never afraid to try anything, his passion for life was undeniable. He enjoyed riding dirt
bikes, fishing and loved being outdoors. Joey would spend hours playing with his dog Daisy
Duke. His big smile could light up any room.
Beloved Son of Elaine Rego-DeDecker (Karl) and the late Tony Rego of Vienna.
Dear Brother and friend to Sherry Rego (George Klassen) of Courtland and Amanda Rego of
Peterborough. Loving grandson of Maria Rego and the late Joe Rego of Tillsonburg as well as
Bob Graham (ET) of Vienna and Shirley Graham of Port Burwell. Joey will be missed by many
Aunt and Uncles and remembered dearly by all of his cousins and friends.
Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street Tillsonburg, on Thursday, March 20th, 2025 from 6:00 – 8:00pm. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 51 Venison Street West in Tillsonburg on Friday, March 21st, 2025 at 11:00am. Father Seejo John officiating. Interment will be held at following at Tillsonburg Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers we ask that you donate to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society directly with the organization or via cheque payable to the organization by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral home (519) 842-5221.
