It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Jeff Jarrold on February 24, 2025, at the age of 35. A beloved son to Brenda Jarrold and the late Dan Santin, Jeff’s warmth and light were felt by all who knew him. He was a cherished brother to Scott Montgomery, Brittany Jarrold, and Michael Jarrold, and a special uncle to his nephew, Elijah, whose love he cherished deeply. Jeff was also a cherished cousin.
Jeff was not only a beloved family member but also a treasured friend, and he leaves behind a chosen family of friends and their children, whom he considered his own nieces and nephew. His love for them knew no bounds, and they too will carry his memory forever.
A true chef at heart, Jeff had a deep love for cooking that brought joy to many. His culinary skills and love of food were only rivaled by his passion for the game of hockey, where he was an unwavering fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs. A lover of music, Jeff enjoyed the timeless sounds of The Tragically Hip, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and many others. His playlist was as eclectic as his personality, which brought so much joy to those around him.
Jeff’s sense of humor was infectious. He was the type of person who could light up any room with his laughter and wit, and he’ll be remembered for his ability to make others smile even in the toughest of times. His genuine kindness, quick humor, and ability to make friends feel like family are just a few of the qualities that made him unforgettable.
As we mourn his loss, we take comfort in knowing that Jeff’s legacy of love, laughter, and passion will continue to live on in our hearts. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
Rest in peace, Jeff. You’ve left this world better than you found it, and we will carry you with us always.
