Shediac, NB – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marcia LeBlanc, 66, of Shediac, formerly of Dieppe / Memramcook, at the Moncton Hospital, on Sunday, December 29th, 2024.
Marcia worked at UPS until her retirement.
Marcia was loved by her family and her large extended family and friends especially (The Pearls). She was an amazing cook, loved to travel, camping, sewing, reading, gardening, shopping and do puzzles. Marcia was an extremely skilled interior decorator. The family moved a few times because of transfers and we always had beautiful homes. Above all she loved her family. She adored her boys Serge and Stephane. She was an avid hockey mom. While Damien travelled extensively for his job her boys never missed their hockey, ball and soccer games. She was a wonderful mother. Marcia also adored her Rocky our Yorkshire terrier which we lost Feb 2017 at the age of 10. He was always by her side. Marcia was always optimistic throughout her life.
She was born in Memramcook and was the daughter of the late Robert LeBlanc (1977) and the late Jeannine Green (2007).
She is survived by her husband Damien (Danny) LeBlanc; two sons, Serge LeBlanc and Stephane LeBlanc both of Calgary; four sisters Simone Landry of Memramcook, Paulette (Francis) Gaudet of Shediac, Jeanita (Guy) Cormier of Shediac, Monique (Guy) LeBlanc of Dieppe; two brothers, Armand (Susan) LeBlanc of Shediac and Edouard (Dorine) LeBlanc of Memramcook; In- laws Charles (Ghislaine Allard), Paulette (Jean-Francois Boucher), Bernard (Ronald Karras), Joseph (Steve Smith), Gisele (Rob Emin), Paul, Charlotte (Patrick Wright), Wayne (Diane) Sears of Dieppe, Dianne Gaudet of Shediac, special brother in law Robert Landry of Dieppe; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased in 2003 by her sister Catherine Sears, her father-in-law Paul-Emile LeBlanc 2017 and mother-in-law Eveline LeBlanc 2023.
The family would like to thank all the Health Care Professionals who assisted her throughout her journey including NB Lung Association, Extra Mural Health and Palliative Care especially Denise Bourque.
Visitation will be held for family and friends at Passage-Chartersville, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (506) 857-1901, on Thursday, January 9th, 2025, from 2 to 4 pm. A funeral service will be held from the chapel at 6 pm.
