July 20th, 1943 – April 26th, 2025
It is with great sadness the family of Heber Joseph Christopher Lethbridge announces his sudden passing at home on April 26th in Lady Cove, Newfoundland.
He loved to hunt, fish, and being outdoors. He was a jack of all trades and enjoyed the odd drink. And the even ones as well.
He could operate any machinery and always joked that the only license he didn’t have was an airplane. And now he finally got his wings.
He loved to tell a good joke and pull the odd prank too.
Predeceased by his parents Albert and Ida Lethbridge. Brothers Jim, George, Ches, Phil, and Son. Sisters Blanche, Carrie, and Dot. Daughter Eleanor (Jeff) Haynes, and son Christopher Lethbridge.
Loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He leaves behind his partner, wife the love of his life Eileen (Holloway) Lethbridge, children Marlene (Owen) Blundon, Sandy (Shirley) Lethbridge, Danny (Cathie) Lethbridge , Lori (Jerry) Monk, Tina (Dean) Gardiner, and Carla (Jamie) Thomas.
Also mourning his loss are his sister Lillian and brothers Roy and Bob.
He leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and a large circle of extended family and friends.
Cremation is entrusted to Vardy’s Funeral Home and a celebration of life took place at the Lion’s Club on Snook’s Harbour Road, Elliott’s Cove on Thursday, May 1st at 2:00 pm.
