It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Gregory Vincent McManus at Sunnybrook Medical Centre in Toronto on Monday March 10, 2025. Greg, beloved husband and best friend of Lorrie (nee Marshall) was 53.
Dear father of Michael, Taylor (Maria) and Kaitlyn (Alex).
Greg is survived by his father Denis McManus (late Shirley) and his brother David (Christine) and their children Brooke, Nicole and Madeline. Predeceased by brother Michael.
Son-in-law of Len Marshall (late Jeannie) and brother-in-law of Trevor (Lynn) and their children Madison and Josh.
Greg will be remembered for his pride and passion for his family, his resourcefulness, his dedication to all things he valued, and both his physical and emotional strength and determination; he will be sincerely missed by his family and friends.
The family will receive visitors at the Muskoka Leon’s Auditorium above the Muskoka Lumber Community Centre, 56 Salmon Ave in Bracebridge on Saturday March 15, 2025 from 12 to 1 pm. A service to celebrate Greg’s life will follow in the Auditorium commencing at 1:00 pm. with Vicki Roeder-Martin officiating. Cremation has taken place.
If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, Burk’s Falls.
