It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Gail Ann Anderson, who left us surrounded by family, after a brave battle with cancer, on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at the age of 78 years. Gail was born on August 24, 1946 in Edmonton, Alberta. Gail was adopted at three days old by Frank and Agnes Bowdige and raised in Mirror, Alberta. Gail will be lovingly remembered by her beloved husband of fifty-five years, Robert Anderson; her daughter, Nadine Anderson; her sons, David (Traci) Anderson, and Brian Anderson, her cherished grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by her brother, Jim (Ivy) Bowdige, and numerous other family members and friends. Gail was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Agnes Bowdige. A Memorial Luncheon in Celebration of Gail’s Life will be held at the Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 – 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed at www.parklandfuneralhome.com.
