Passed peacefully at the Bluewater Rest Home, Zurich with his loving family by his side on March 13, 2025 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Katarina M. (Antl) Fuzy for 50 years. Adored father of Peter and Karen Fuzy of Corbeil and Michelle and Dave Szasz of Goderich. Cherished grandpa of Paris, Paul, Andrew, Morgan Fuzy; Ella, and Thalia Szasz. Survived by his god-daughter Sylvia (Jeff) Calvagna. Loving brother-in-law of Adi and Marika, Laci and Elizabeth, and Joska. Predeceased by his sister and brother-in-law Ilona and John Sogi and his parents Istvan and Ilona (Szeky) Fuzy.
Stephen graduated from the University of Toronto’s dental school in 1962 and dedicated his career to public health dentistry in Windsor, where he served the community for nearly 20 years. His commitment to improving oral health left a lasting impact on those he cared for, and his kindness, dedication and love for his family and grandchildren will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
A private family funeral mass will be held at the St. Boniface Roman Catholic Church, Zurich. Cremation with inurnment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery, Windsor at a later date. A recording of the service will be available at www.youtube.com/@lakehuroncatholicfamilyofp7828/streams on March 29th.
