François Brochu
1960-2025
It is with broken hearts we announce the sudden but peaceful passing
of François Brochu of Tobique First Nation, NB, at the Upper
River Valley Hospital on the evening of February 20, 2025.
François was surrounded by his loving family when passed
away.
François was born in St-Philibert, QC, on June 13, 1960. He was
the son of Marie Auclair and the late Marc Brochu. Besides his mother,
who lives in St-Georges de Beauce, QC, François leaves behind the
love of his life, Roxanne Sappier; his sons, Alex Brochu (Shannon
Bird) of Stanley, NB, Lucas Brochu of Stanley, NB, Daniel Brochu
(Candace Olivia) of Rusagonis, NB; his sisters, Louise Brochu of
St-Georges de Beauce, QC, Isabelle Brochu (David) of Québec; his
brother, Fabian Brochu (Lynn) of St-Georges de Beauce, QC; his little
dog, Angel; along with many nieces and nephews.
François predeceased by his father, Marc Brochu; his grandfather,
Eddie Brochu; his brothers, Michel and Ghislain Brochu; his special
nephew, Pascal Brochu; and his four-legged friend, Maggie.
François was a proud 26 year veteran of the Canadian Military. He
served with the 22nd Regiment and had several tours of duty
overseas.
Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home with visitation on Wednesday from
12-2 pm. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025
at 2 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home. Father Gilbert Doddatto
officiating.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Victoria County SPCA
would be appreciated by the family.
François’ family would like to thank everyone for their love and
prayers during this difficult time. They also want to thank everyone
for respecting their privacy while François was in the hospital.
Finally, the family wants to thank the doctors and nurses of the Upper
River Valley Hospital Intensive Care Unit for the care given to
François and the compassion given to the family.

Perth-Andover, NB.
