Obituary
Dearest friends and family, we are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our mother,Frances Elizabeth Moss Perry (Betty), who peacefully passed away early Saturday morning at 86 years old surrounded by family. She leaves behind beautiful memories with the people she loved and touched the lives of.
She was predeceased by her first husband Donald Milton Moss who she shared her children with. She was also predeceased by her second husband, Eric Ross Perry, who she spent many of her later years growing old with. Predeceased as well by her parents Frank and Gladys Bailey nee Cross and brothers Frank, Brymer, Wallace, Guy, and Bruce (Butch) and granddaughter Terri Lee Parsons.
Left to mourn are her children, Cathy (Barry) Parsons, Donna (Edward) Van Lier-Grieve, Carol (Albert) Parsons, Leona (Terry) Wagg, and Glynn (Dana) Moss; Her grandchildren April (Jamie) House, DeeAnn (Jason) Hintz, Marcia (Brad) Kapetyn, Jameson (Hanna) Grieve, Wendy (Sham) Mansingh, Jason (Jackie) Parsons,Jamie (Melanie) Parsons,Roger Parsons, Sienna (Stuart) Wagg, Courtney Wagg, Tyler Moss, and Emma Moss. As well as her 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Also left to mourn are her brother Gus (Betty) Bailey, and sister Mary Bailey. She also leaves behind a great number of nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025, at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL. from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Where also a service will take place on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025, at 1:00 pm with Pastor Jeff White officiating. For those unable to attend the funeral service it can be viewed live via our face book page at Parsons Funeral Home (Deer Lake). Following her wishes she will be cremated prior to the service, and she will go to her final resting place once the service is complete at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery.
