We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Florence Philomena Highland (Rozario). Florence is the daughter of
the late Basil Rozario and Anita Rozario. Florence is thebeloved wife of the late husband Ralph Patrick Highland, the dear mother to Virginia (Michael), Andrew (Ann) and Darryl, the loving grandmother to five grandchildren Isabella, Lillianna, Victoria, Rebecca and Gabriel. and the great grandmother to Alfie and Ayla-Mae.
Florence will be dearly missed by her siblings, as well as her many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and residents and staff at Birkdale place.
Florence was a very strong and independent woman. She was a very caring and giving person and always put others before herself.
A visitation for Florence will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 between the hours of 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at McKersie & Early Funeral Home, 114 Main Street East, Milton, Ontario. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Parish, 139 Main Street East, Milton, Ontario, at Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM. In accordance with Florence’s wishes, the burial will be a private ceremony, attended only by her three children, their spouses, and her five grandchildren.
