Obituary of Elly Delaine Antone
Peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on Friday, February 14th, 2025, Elly “katsi`.tsyawaks” Antone of Oneida Nation of the Thames, Turtle Clan, in her 52nd year.
Beloved wife of Mathew Johnson. Cherished mother of Ronan and Reese Johnson. Loving daughter of Joanie (Rick) Antone and the late Lester G. Antone. Dear sister of Daniel Antone, Harley (Stepanie) Antone, and Conrad (Chelsea) Antone. Survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Fondly remembered daughter-in-law of Puckwiss Johnson (late Shawsh) and sister-in-law of Garner Johnson. Predeceased by her nephew Carver Albert – Antone and her grandparents Norman and Nellie Doxtator and Isabel Antone and Oscar Farmer. Elly will be sadly missed by her special friends Connie Elijah, Lana Doxtator, Molly Antone, Shelley Elijah, Paula Cornelius, Cheryl Antone, Tricia Doxtator-Whiteye, and Faye Doxtator-Summers.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Irwin Antone for all his guidance during this difficult time.
Family will receive friends at 2555 Longhouse Road, Oneida on Saturday, February 15th, after 6pm where the Celebration of Elly’s life will be held Monday, February 17th commencing at 11 am. Interment River Road United Church Cemetery.
