Edward passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, March 2nd, 2025, at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital at the age of 91. He will be missed by his beloved wife Marjorie of 66 years. Remembered by his children Darlene Cowling (Bob), Gerald Shorts (Donna), and Ken Shorts (Sandy). He was the cherished grandfather of Angela, Crystal (Rob), Jason (Kristal), Sabrina (Branden), Cassie, Justin (Courtney), Steven (Brooke), and Robert, and great grandfather of Aiden, Abigail, Cole, Airianna, Kieran, Cameron, Caleb, Christopher, Conan, and Carl. Dear brother of Elmer (Wendy), Dale (Barb), and Clifford, late Hazel Good (late Charlie), late William (Lorraine), late Owen (Carmel), late Floyd (late Carole), and late Anna Schonaeur (late Dennis).
The family will receive friends at the Wartman Funeral Home, Napanee on Friday, March 7th, 2025 from 6-8 pm and again on Saturday March 8th, 2025 from 10-11am. A service to be held in the chapel following at 11am with burial at Deseronto Cemetery.
