Doug Bexton Obituary
Douglas Howard Bexton, age 69, of Stratford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at the Stratford General Hospital. Doug was predeceased by his parents, Herbert (Howard) Bexton and Elizabeth (Jean) Bexton. Beloved husband of Carey Bexton, (nee Gingras).
In addition to his wife, he leaves behind his daughter, Olivia Cawston-Bexton (Kurtis) and many nieces and nephews.
Having graduated from Stratford District Secondary School (formerly Northwestern), Doug worked as a welder in the Stratford area, before securing his dream job at what is now General Dynamics Land Systems in London, Ontario, where he worked until his retirement.
Cremation has taken place. A private family interment was held in Avondale Cemetery. A public celebration of Doug’s life will be held AT A FUTURE DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED.
