on Friday, January 31, 2025, the passing of Donald “Donnie”
Malcolm Munro, age 87, occurred at the Dr. John M. Gillis Lodge,
surrounded by his family.
Born on the
Whim Road, PE, on November 15, 1937, son of the late Mack and Janie
(nee Cameron) Munro. Donnie is survived by his beloved wife of 61
years, Marjorie (nee Matheson); children, John (Leah), William, Alan
(Jeri); grandchildren, Abigail and Jack Munro; siblings, Mary
(Allison) Gill, Cameron (Josie) Munro and sister-in-law Margaret
Munro.
He is
predeceased by; brother Sandy Munro, sister Jean Orpin, sister in law
Linda Munro, and brother in law, Wayne
Orpin.
Resting at
Ferguson Logan Funeral Home with visiting hours Monday, Feb. 3, 2025
from 4-7 pm . The funeral service will be held from the
funeral home chapel with live streaming on Tuesday, Feb 4, at 3
pm. In Lieu of flowers, donations to Valleyfield Cemetery
would be appreciated.
