It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dominic Skinner announce his passing at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Centre, Harbour Breton, NL on Friday, December 13, 2024 at the age of 63. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife: Patsy; children: Rebecca Rafuse, Souris, PE, Rita (Kirt Garrioch), Edmonton, AB, Bessie Skinner, Souris, PE, Jessica Stokes, St. Alban’s, NL & Bianca Stokes, St. John’s, NL; grandchildren: Destiny, Nick, Brandon, Lucas, Nikita, Susie & Skye; brothers: Thomas Skinner (Olive), Montague, PE & James Skinner (Yvonne), Swanger’s Cove, NL; sisters: Mary Skinner, St. Alban’s, NL, Agnes Skinner (David), Souris, PE, Alice (John Walsh), Ramea, NL, Yvonne Stride, Conne River, NL, Frances (Wade Cull), Marystown, NL & Roseanne (Joseph Stride), Conne River, NL; special friends: Robert & Charlene, St. Alban’s, NL, Loretta & Murdock, St. Alban’s, NL, Basil & Margaret, Milltown, NL, Rhoda & Brian, Head of Bay d’Espoir, NL, as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Edward & Emily Skinner; sister: Dormay Skinner. Funeral service on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, St. Alban’s, NL with Father Tom Duffenais officiating. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
