Obituary of Dennis Harry Bowe
Dennis was born in Peace River, Alberta, on April 20, 1957, to Arthur and Emily Bowe. Dennis was the oldest of 7 children.
The Bowe’s moved to Taylor, B.C. in 1972. Dennis went to South Taylor School, and when it closed, he attended Central School in Dawson Creek, B.C. He quit school and went on to a job. Dennis was an excellent mechanic, seasoned musician, and had many traits. He could fix almost anything. He was very talented and a very loving hearted family man. Dennis went to Delbert and Rose Alexanders when he was 18 and never left. Delbert and Rose became his second parents, and their kids all adopted him as a sibling. He married Doreen Alexander. They were together for 50 years and had two kids, Laura (Arlan) and Allen (Gem).
Dennis was a wonderful grandpa to Samantha (Kyle) and Liam, Mason and Joey. Dennis was also a great-grandpa to Jace and Millie. He was a second father to so many, especially nephew Rick Bowe. He made space in his home for niece Diane Bowe, Corey Giraroud, Henry Dragojivich and Jesse Rouse for a few years among many others. Jody Hanson he called his red headed stepchild. Hearts are breaking all over this great land for the loss of Dennis Bowe, he is so severely missed and deeply loved.
A Celebration of Life for Dennis Bowe will be held on February 15, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Taylor Hall in Taylor, B.C.
