It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at the age of 68.
Beloved wife of over 50 years of Steve Fisher. Loving mother of Dale (Ophilia), Scott Fisher and Patricia Mann (Yves). Cherished grandmother of Lilly Anna, Destiny, Katie, Dana, Cissaly, Payton, Cameron and Ryan. Dear great-grandmother of Delilah and Aurora.
She will be greatly missed by her siblings Geraldine Chapman (late Richard), Ronald Mann (Louise) and by her in-laws Mark Fisher (Sandra), Cindy Gutcher (Rick) and Dan St.Pierre.
Della is predeceased by her parents Donald and Caroline Mann, her siblings Shirley Duguay (late Delphis), Wallace Mann (late Karen), Pamela Lamontagne (Late Roland) and by her sister-in-law Wendy St.Pierre.
Della had a passion for travelling the world. Every November, she would make her way to the US to visit her friends. She also cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, especially when they gathered at the cottage for a weekend of camping. Their time spent together filled her heart with warmth. Whether they were fishing by the lake or simply enjoying each other’s company, those days were some of her most treasured memories.
Respecting her wishes, cremation will take place. A private celebration on life will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to LESSARD Funeral and Cremation Centre. Remembrance donations to the Timmins Humane Society or your local animal shelter would be greatly appreciated.
